Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration or related field required.
• Minimum of five to seven years management experience with increasing responsibility required.
• Serves as staff leader to the board and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages patient care with medical staff, hospital administration, department heads, ancillary departments, and nursing staff.
• Ensures open communication across hospital to ensure staff understand and comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Manages ancillary and support departments to assure quality, safe patient care and patient satisfaction.
• Participates in educational programs to meet mandatory requirements and identified needs for job and personal growth.
• Follows through with supervisor feedback to meet identified needs for growth.
• Attends departmental meetings and reviews meeting minutes.
• Participates in performance improvement and communicates problems to supervisors.
• Adheres to hospital policies and protects patient confidentiality.
• Maintains professional communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
