Qualifications

• RN license required (NC) and BLS certification.
• BSN preferred.
• Five years of nursing experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hospital-wide activity, bed availability, admissions, and transfers.
• Coordinate patient placement based on clinical needs and resources.
• Respond to emergencies and evolving operational needs.
• Communicate significant events to nursing and executive leadership.
• Maintain shift reports including census, patient activity, restraints, and sitter needs.
• Review transfer documentation for EMTALA compliance.
• Serve as a clinical resource and support quality improvement.
