Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Supervisor Operations Maintenance to lead a multi-skilled facilities team in planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance work. This role coordinates with staff and contractors, ensuring cost control and timely completion of tasks to support patient care and hospital operations.

You will review work orders, approve materials, and monitor safety, regulatory compliance, and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in facilities operations preferred.
• Prior supervisor experience in building maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with regulatory standards and cost-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work and supervise staff and contractors.
• Review maintenance work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor overtime, productivity, and costs; ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Coordinate with Associate Director and other supervisors to improve efficiency.
• Maintain non-clinical equipment and determine need for outside services.
