Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale, a 515-bed hospital, is seeking an accomplished executive to direct day-to-day hospital operations and oversee market-level leadership for primary care and specialty services.

The role focuses on developing and implementing plans to achieve objectives, ensuring compliance, managing budgets and resource planning, and coordinating care across departments to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Fifteen years' related experience: Preferred
• Ten years' leadership experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees hospital operations. Manages, directs, and leads market level leadership to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Develops, directs and implements plans to ensure business objectives for the hospital are achieved.
• Develops and implements operations plans and objectives, coordinates care, services, and programming to achieve objectives at the market level.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develops/monitors/maintains FTE, capital, and operational budgets.
• Reviews department systems, concerns, budgets, and goals with physicians, including cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
