Job summary

Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital is seeking a Temporary Part-time Operation Assistant II to support the Supporting Services Department on Hong Kong Island. The role covers housekeeping, transport, and frontline staff supervision, with duties including building management and liaison with contractors.

The position requires education as described, plus 1 year of hospital services or related experience (or 3 years of similar work).

Qualifications

Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent with passes in English and Chinese or equivalent.
Alternative: 5 HKDSE subjects with required levels; English & Chinese Level 2.
AND with 1 year of hospital/cleansing/store/logistics facilities or customer service experience; OR 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

To assist in daily operation of Supporting Services Department (Housekeeping, Transportation, Foreman Office or NEATS Portering Team).
To assist in the management of Siu Sai Wan Health Integrated Building.
To assist in the management of the overnight room and department’s equipment and items.
To liaise with users and service contractors in day-to-day provision of services.
To conduct routine inspection and monitor the performance of frontline staff.
To compile statistical reports and maintain duty rosters and staff records.
To assist in staff training.
To assist in handling emergencies and disasters.
To perform the cleansing or transportation job if necessary.
To perform any other duties as required by supervisors.
