Job summary

Qualifications

Completion of structured departmental training.
Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken.
Possess recognized Health Care Assistant Training / Care-related Certificate.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care, including feeding, turning, transfers and bed making.
Assist nurses for patient admission and attend in clinics.
Assist doctors/nurses/therapists with treatment programs and activities.
Prepare patients for operations, X-rays and procedures.
Perform cleansing and disinfection of equipment and environment.
Escort patients for operations, examinations or treatment.
Assist in setting up and assembling equipment and prepare patients for investigations.
Assist clinical staff with vital signs, urine tests, assessments and wound care.
Regular stocktaking of equipment and consumables.
Perform general clerical and reception duties.
Operate computerized appointment booking and data processing systems.
Handle general telephone/public enquiries.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
