Job summary

Tripler Army Medical Center on the Island of Oahu, HI, seeks a Nutrition Care Specialist to support the Production and Service Branch in hospital food service and patient nutrition.

Job requires a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics and at least one year of experience reviewing patient menus and adjusting menus per provider orders, to meet therapeutic and basic nutritional needs.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience in hospital or clinic food service.
• Reviewing patient menus for conformance with diet orders.
• Making menu adjustments directed by provider for therapeutic and basic nutritional needs.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Nutrition Care Division, Production and Service Branch within a hospital setting.
• Assist in reviewing and adjusting patient menus per dietary orders.
• Support nutrient-dense menu planning and patient dietary needs as directed by providers.
