Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager or Dietetic Technician registration as required by state or regulatory agency
• Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as mandated by state or regulatory agency
• Thorough knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, administration, and HACCP guidelines for hospital food services
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in healthcare food service

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and direction of the Nutrition Services Department, oversee nutritional support for patients, employees, and guests.
• Set and implement policies and procedures that guide cafeteria management, food preparation, budgeting, purchasing, staff development and safety practices.

Education

Certified Dietary Manager or Dietetic Technician registration with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Thorough knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, administration, and operation of hospital food services, and knowledge of HACCP guidelines

At least 3 years of supervisory experience in food service, preferably healthcare
