Job summary

Henderson Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a part-time cook to prepare meals for patients, staff, physicians and visitors. You will perform timely seasoning and cooking while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.

The role requires a High School Diploma (preferred) and a Food Handler Safety training card; previous kitchen experience is preferred. Training and growth opportunities are offered within the VHS/UHS network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate from a formal school specializing in institutional cooking preferred.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely preparation, seasoning and cooking of food for patients, employees, physicians and visitors.
• Performs similar or related duties while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.
