Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Nutrition Operator at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Charleston, SC. You will assist with patient meals, handle special requests, and help ensure timely service in a hospital foodservice setting.

Willing to train is required; position offers a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour with AM/PM shifts and rotating weekends. Online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper telephone etiquette with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet.
• Responds to patients' needs and resolves concerns or reports issues to supervisor.
• Adheres to dietary restrictions and diet orders while meeting patient preferences.
• Coordinates with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions and patient needs are met.
• Complies with HIPAA and privacy policies.
