Job summary

Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, WY is seeking a dedicated Nutritional Services Aide 2 to support patient meal service and equipment cleaning in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will assemble food trays, deliver meals, assist with special diets, and maintain sanitary conditions while following infection control practices. Prior food service or ServSafe training is preferred, and teamwork is essential to ensure patient satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital food service preferred.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food trays for Room Service patients, matching general and therapeutic diets.
• Prepare and deliver items as requested by nursing staff or patients.
• Maintain Room Service tray line in a clean, neat and organized manner.
• Prepare special diet foods as necessary.
• Deliver food in carts to rooms and place trays at patient bedside while checking patient identifiers.
• Load and oversee dishwashers.
• Wash dishes and utensils by hand as needed.
• Dispose of trash and garbage appropriately.
• Maintain clean floors and walk-in refrigerators.
