Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Ohio is hiring a Nursing Assistant to join the interdisciplinary patient care team, focusing on assisting patients with daily living activities and performing delegated clinical tasks under the Ohio Board of Nursing scope of practice.

Successful candidates will have KH Nursing Assistant orientation, CPR/BLS certification, and either hospital/long-term care experience, or completed nursing assistant coursework, or current KH employment status.

Qualifications

• Must have completed KH Nursing Assistant orientation.
• Certification in CPR/BLS.
• Must have one of: six months experience as nursing assistant in hospital/long-term care; Nursing Assistant course completed in last six months; Nursing student or pre-nursing listed on transcripts; Current KH employee.

Responsibilities

• Serve as member of interdisciplinary patient care team.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and perform delegated patient care tasks.
• Maintain knowledge, skills and ability for delegated tasks as per scope of practice.
• Support department operations and perform other duties as assigned.
• Report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
