Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring Floor Technician for Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. Both full-time and part-time shifts are available: 10:00 pm – 6:30 am and 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, with days varying.

Prior floor care experience is required; fixed pay rate is $16.00 per hour. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment, with responsibilities including hard floor and carpet care and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience required.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large areas of floor surface.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
