Qualifikationen

• At least two years of related duties with at least one year in a healthcare setting.
• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Health Insurance, Medical Groups, Billing and Medical Terminology; strong business communications. Ability to handle confidential information.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate physician operations and provide lead clerical support for the Hospital Medicine Department.
• Manage patient census, e-billing reconciliation, physician assignments and prepare various reports/logs.
• Facilitate patient/physician tracking and act as liaison among Hospitalist Program, Hospital, Medical Groups and Health Plans.
• Prepare and maintain logs, records, schedules, files and manuals; produce reports/graphs using manual and computerized data with high accuracy.
• Ensure accurate data entry and reporting while meeting state-mandated deadlines in a busy environment.
