Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time 0.5 FTE Nocturnist Hospitalist to join Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA. The role involves overnight inpatient care for adults, with collaboration across teams to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality care.

The position requires board certification or eligibility and at least two years of hospitalist experience. Six shifts per month, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offer a flexible schedule within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Nocturnist Hospitalist physician is preferred.
• Two years of experience in hospitalist roles.
• Board certification or eligibility required for nocturnist practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight inpatient care for adult patients.
• Collaborate with daytime hospitalist teams for seamless transitions.
• Triage and admit patients from the Emergency Department.
• Work with physicians, APPs, nurses, and subspecialists to deliver patient-centered care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital protocols.

Job Summary

The salary range for this position is $187,000 to $197,300 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity. What You'll Do

• Provide overnight inpatient care for adult patients
