Job summary

The Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Washington invites applications for up to eight clinical practice faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Practice.

Appointees will serve as attending physicians in the Hospital Medicine Program at Harborview, UWMC Montlake/Northwest, or VA Puget Sound Health Care System and will teach residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Washington State Medical License or eligibility must be met.
• USMLE steps completed for foreign graduates when applicable.
• Eligibility for H-1B sponsorship for eligible graduates.
• Full-time positions (100% FTE).

Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician in the Hospital Medicine Program at designated sites.
• Teach residents and medical students in clinical settings.
• Provide high-quality internal medicine care and participate in service activities.
