Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospital Medicine Team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Florida. The role requires board certification and inpatient experience, with shifts from 11am to 7pm, four days a week a month commitment.

This position participates in an open ICU with nocturnist support and a small team of physicians and APPs.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of in-patient experience required.
• Three years of experience in acute care, cardiac, or pulmonary is a plus.
• DEA license is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work 11am – 7pm, Monday thru Friday (8-hr shifts; must commit to three shifts per month)

• No Procedures / No Codes
• Open ICU, intensivist coverage
• Dedicated Nocturnist Team of one remote physician and one APP on site; 7pm to 7am
• Hospital Medicine Team includes 4 full-time physicians & 2 full-time APPs
