HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospital Medicine Team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Florida.

The role requires inpatient care experience and active NP/PA certification with DEA license, BLS and ACLS credentials. The work schedule is 7a–7p with a 7 on/7 off block, in a hospitalist program that emphasizes collaboration with an on-site team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP or PA with inpatient experience preferred.
• Experience in acute/critical care, cardiac, or pulmonary is a plus.
• DEA license required; BLS and ACLS certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Join Hospital Medicine Team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, FL.
• Provide inpatient care in an internal medicine setting.
• Support the nocturnist team and physicians according to schedule.

Qualified Candidates

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of in-patient experience preferred
• Experience in acute care, critical care, cardiac, or pulmonary a plus
• DEA license is required
• Current BLS, ACLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work weekdays and weekends (mixed schedule)

About Our Hospitalist Program

• No Procedures / No Codes
• Open ICU, intensivist coverage
• Schedule is 7a – 7p; 7 on / 7 off block scheduling
• Dedicated Nocturnist Team of one remote physician and one APP on site; 7pm to 7am
• Hospital Medicine Team includes 4 full time physicians & 2 full time APPs
