Overview

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced full-time Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospital Medicine Team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Florida. Specialization: Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnist coverage 7pm – 7am (weekdays and weekends).

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of inpatient experience (preferred).
• Three years of experience in acute care, cardiac, or pulmonary (preferred).
• Acute Care certification (preferred for NP) or Critical Care experience (preferred for NP/PA).
• DEA license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

About Our Hospitalist Program

• No Procedures / No Codes
• Open ICU with intensivist coverage
• Schedule is 7p - 7a; 7 on / 7 off block scheduling
• Dedicated nocturnist team of one remote physician and one APP on site; 7pm to 7am
• 4 full-time physicians & 2 full-time APPs in the Hospital Medicine team
