Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in a designated technical area.
• Active KY Board of Pharmacy Registration.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and calls to retail pharmacies and physician offices to gather home medication histories.
• Uses medication history software and state databases to obtain medication information.
• Updates computerized home medication databases and reconciles medication lists with admission orders.
