Qualifications

• BCLS certification required upon hire.
• Experience may substitute for formal education in relevant cases.

Responsibilities

• Takes verbal and written orders from physician and responds accordingly.
• Conducts initial intake including vital signs, height and weight.
• Supports patient care by preparing rooms and assisting patients.
• Performs routine laboratory tests and blood draws as needed.
• Operates and documents in the Electronic Medical Record system.
• Ensures patient safety and infection control standards are followed.
