Job summary

York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management is seeking a Maintenance Craftsman (Mechanical) to join the Estates Department based at Scarborough Hospital, with potential to work across the Trust's sites. You will be part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team, maintaining mechanical services and supporting engineering infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable facilities.

The role requires City and Guilds Craft Certificate or BTEC Level 3/NVQ 3 in engineering, a team-oriented approach, and

Qualifications

• Good general knowledge of mechanical services and engineering maintenance.
• Qualifications: City and Guilds Craft Certificate, BTEC Level 3 or NVQ 3 in engineering.
• Willingness to undertake Health and Safety training and to work across NHS Trust sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical services as part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
• Contribute to maintenance of engineering infrastructure across Scarborough/Bridlington area.
• Work at Scarborough Hospital with potential to work at other Trust sites and participate in on-call rota.
