Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a Materials Technician to manage the storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies across nursing units. You will stock, count, and distribute supplies and track movements in the MMIS.

This full-time evening shift (2 PM–10:30 PM) offers competitive hourly pay and benefits. A high school diploma or GED, a valid WA state driver’s license, and prior materials management experience are preferred; CRCST certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid WA license (state license) required.
• Driver’s license required.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred.
• Six (6) months prior materials management experience within a healthcare institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow processes for storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment.
• Stock, count, and distribute supplies; record movement in MMIS.
• Restock supply carts for assigned nursing units and adjust par levels as needed.
• Interact with nursing staff and respond to their needs promptly.
