Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta is seeking a Materials Management Technician to oversee the flow of hospital equipment, supplies and mail, ensuring timely receipt, distribution and preparation for shipping.

The role requires inventory management knowledge, strong numerical and customer service skills, and proficiency in basic computer operations. ERP familiarity and hospital stockroom experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital Central Supply or stockroom is a plus.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to operate basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of hospital equipment, supplies, and mail to ensure timely distribution.
• Conduct daily counts and data entry to track inventory and support cycle counts.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to storage, labeling and documentation standards.
• Communicate professionally with hospital partners and use ERP systems as needed.
• Support in meeting department policies, quality assurance, safety and infection control standards.
• Attend meetings and participate in educational programs as required.
