Job summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital- West is seeking a Materials Technician to join our team. You will monitor and maintain inventory levels, process orders, and track stock, prices, and delivery dates in our hospital system.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and with others, and basic clerical skills including Excel. A High School Diploma or GED is required, plus 6 months clerical experience and BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of clerical experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels in a complex system.
• Receive and process incoming shipments and update records.
• Affix barcodes and stock tags to new equipment.
• Prepare inventory data for computer entry.
• Log materials received and issued from inventory.
• Assist with annual physical inventory and resolve discrepancies.
