Mass General Brigham’s Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Distribution Technician II to ensure efficient stocking, replenishment, and organization of supplies across the facility. The role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and safe handling in a busy healthcare environment.

The position requires at least a high school diploma (GED preferred) and 2 years of experience; familiarity with systems like PeopleSoft/Workday is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Keyboarding skills or experience with hand held computer technology preferred.
• Ability to learn internal systems such as PeopleSoft/Workday and Wits System.

Responsibilities

• Performs logistics functions, including replenishment of assigned nursing units and patient care areas.
• Stock unit supply and equipment storage areas and medication rooms daily.
• Cleans and inspects equipment according to department and hospital guidelines.
• Checks for expiration dating on supplies and equipment; perform maintenance and remove affected product as required.
• Assist vendor truck driver with loading and unloading of supply carts.
• Provide feedback to inventory specialist regarding par level adjustments via email.
• Perform cart maintenance tasks and reorganize carts as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance of the office, hallways and dock.
