Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Transportation Technician to support patient and equipment transport, assist staff, and maintain safety and confidentiality. You will move patients, equipment, and records, coordinate with nursing and other teams, and help ensure timely care delivery.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (preferred) and good English communication skills. Hospital experience is helpful, and familiarity with the Premise Transport Application is a

Competenze

• High school diploma preferred.
• 6 months of hospital experience helpful.
• Excellent English reading and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and solve problems.
• Knowledge of special needs and behaviors of patients preferred.
• Proficient with the Premise Transport Application.

Mansioni

• Transports patients within the hospital via stretcher, wheelchair, bed, escort or other means.
• Assists staff with movement of patients on/off stretchers, wheelchairs, or beds.
• Transports equipment, supplies, patient belongings, records and other items within hospital areas.
• Provides messenger/equipment delivery to codes.
• Maintains equipment and ensures cleanliness and proper tagging.]
• Generates charges for supplies, equipment and services as appropriate.
• Assists in disaster-related transportation duties as needed.
