Job summary

Crothall Healthcare in Marion is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) to support a hospital environment. The role focuses on routine upkeep, safety, and reliable operations within patient care areas.

You will troubleshoot equipment, supervise building automation systems, perform generator tests, replace fixtures, and coordinate with vendors. A valid driver's license and experience with BAS and CMMS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment sets, replace plumbing fixtures, rod drains and pipes, identify and stop leaks, rebuild flush valves.
• Supervise and adjust the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Perform generator testing and inspections, replace light fixtures/bulbs, ceiling tiles, respond to building issues.
• Use drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs.
• Coordinate specialized work with vendors and contractors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on emergency power, lighting, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections per maintenance program.
