Responsibilities include electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry, preventive maintenance, and equipment servicing. The position involves shift work, with on‑site duties at Lowell, MA and participation in snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of building maintenance experience requested.
• On‑the‑job training in building trades provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and preventive tasks in hospital facilities.
• Carry out electrical, plumbing and basic carpentry repairs as needed.
• Inspect and service hospital equipment and systems.
• Replace lighting and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Assist with safety equipment and hazardous materials handling.
• Support snow removal and seasonal maintenance as required.
• Read blueprints and follow manufacturers' specs for repairs.
• Keep work areas organized and inventory stocked.
