Job summary

LewisGale Hospital Montgomery is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team responsible for mechanical, electrical (including normal and emergency power), plumbing, Med Gas, and HVAC systems. The role supports hospital repairs, TV systems when needed, and contributes to a safe, well-maintained environment.

You will assemble and install minor electrical and mechanical equipment, repair furniture and fixtures, maintain locks and keys, and manage Nurse Call systems while ordering

Qualifications

• Driver license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair basic electrical and mechanical equipment and small electrical projects.
• Repair furniture, beds, chairs, and plumbing fixtures; maintain hospital fixtures.
• Replace faulty switches, cords, plugs, receptacles and light fixtures.
• Maintain hospital keys and locks; service Nurse Call system; manage inventory.
