Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our hospital team in Texas. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and safety in accordance with policy and scope of practice.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, assessments, medication administration, and documentation in the EHR, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Texas.
• At least 1 year of recent hospital experience.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
