Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Six months hospital experience preferred.
• Current New Mexico LPN license is required.
• BLS Certification required or must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews information on the patient record.
• Identifies and documents physiological needs after conference with the RN.
• Discusses psychosocial needs of the patient with the RN.
• Reviews and revises the plan of care of assigned patients.
• Participates in patient care and planning with the RN.
• Plans care to be given setting priorities and delivering in an organized manner.
