Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled locksmith to establish and maintain a master and sub-master key control system. The role includes logging keys, selecting key combinations, and overseeing distribution. On-call pager and possible weekend shifts may be required.

This onsite position is located at 50 Staniford Street, with a 40-hour work week. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of locksmith experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a technical locksmith course or equivalent

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of related locksmith experience.
• Completion of a technical locksmith course beyond high school or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain locks and related hardware, including re-building locks and re-pinning cylinders and other security devices.
• Respond to emergency and non‑emergency requests for mechanical service.
• Collaborate with vendors to review supplies and ensure timely, accurate delivery of materials.
