Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is seeking a Linen/Laundry Attendant to support its hospital operations. Under supervision, you will receive and sort linens, deliver to floors, stock closets, and assist with cleaning duties in the laundry/linen department.

You will also prepare soiled laundry for external processing and monitor stock levels. Candidates should follow safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic English communication with nursing staff.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for stock records.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stock and deliver clean linens and clothing.

• Load scrub machines and prepare scrub carts.
