UCLA Health is seeking a per diem Linen Distributor to help ensure linen, medical supplies, and equipment are available where needed. You will support inventory across UCLA Health facilities and work closely with clinical teams to back daily patient care activities.

Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, maintaining inventory records, and using handheld devices to reconcile orders. You will contribute to cost containment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Formación

• Experience with hospital inventory systems and electronic ordering.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, and performing heavy lifting as required.

Responsabilidades

• Order, receive, distribute, and deliver linen, supplies, and equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Stock, organize, and maintain inventory rooms, linen storage areas, and supply locations.
• Pick, pack, and fulfill supply orders while maintaining records and documentation.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and enter data for inventory control.
• Reconcile packing slips, purchase orders, and delivered items for shipment accuracy.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinic staff to identify supply needs and optimize availability.
• Set up and maintain products in inventory management software and handheld systems.
• Monitor and replenish inventory to PAR levels and adjust stock quantities as needed.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and strive for efficiency and waste minimization.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment per UCLA Health standards.
