UnityPoint Health is seeking a Linen Technician to support hospital linen services by counting, restocking, and distributing linens across departments. You will ensure timely delivery, maintain inventory records, and respond to customer requests with courteous, HIPAA-compliant service.

The role involves rotating shifts and working across locations, with a focus on operational efficiency and patient care at UnityPoint Health.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid driver’s license when driving for work.
• High school/GED or equivalent preferred.
• Institutional laundry experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Count and restock linen exchange carts, ensuring accurate par levels to meet hospital needs.
• Collect and transport soiled linen carts to designated areas, including loading and unloading trucks for distribution.
• Maintain accurate and timely data entry in LinenHelper to track linen inventory levels.
• Distribute clean linens to various departments ensuring timely delivery to support patient care.
• Fill customer linen requisitions.
• Answer phone calls and record customer linen requests, providing responsive and courteous service.
• Collaborate with team members to balance individual and group responsibilities, contributing to positive team goals.
• Maintain a clean and orderly linen storage environment to support efficient operations.
