Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience in laundry or housekeeping in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns linen deliveries throughout the hospital.
• Stocks linen carts to be delivered to various hospital departments and floors.
• Collects soiled linens from patient rooms, departments, and common areas, following proper infection control protocols.
• Monitors linen inventory levels, reports shortages, and assists in maintaining adequate stock levels of clean linens.
• Ensures that clean linen is delivered in a timely manner to meet hospital demand, with special attention to urgent requests.
• Inspects linens for cleanliness, damage, and stains before delivery.
• Maintains accurate records of linen usage, collection, and distribution.
• Helps rotate and organize linen stock to ensure older linens are used first and stored cleanly.
• Follows safety protocols and infection control guidelines; maintains equipment and work areas clean and safe.
