Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–12 months of general laundry experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephones and taking messages.
• Assembling and placing linen on exchange carts for delivery to nursing units.
• Collecting soiled linen from designated collection areas.
• Delivering all clean linen exchange carts to proper areas.
• Maintaining daily logs/tracking forms.
• Maintaining the department and soiled utility rooms in a clean, safe environment.
• Stocking all clean linen on exchange carts.
