Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Linen Distribution Technician in Dallas to fill and deliver linen orders with accuracy and safety. You will stock par levels, operate laundry equipment, and maintain records while supporting a collaborative Linen Services team.

Responsibilities include delivering to hospital areas, restocking dispensers, and completing logs, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and perform basic math.
• Count linen accurately and maintain records.
• Able to move heavy linen carts throughout shift.
• Able to operate laundry equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Transports and delivers clean linen to designated areas.
• Fills linen carts per established par levels.
• Restocks scrub apparel dispensers and empties soiled collection units.
• Operates cart tugger to tow linen carts.
• Completes production and delivery logs and related paperwork.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and reports malfunctions.
• Provides backup within Linen Services to ensure workflow.
• Identifies process improvements to boost customer satisfaction.
