Job summary

Lincare seeks a Liaison in North Las Vegas, NV to coordinate discharge equipment delivery with hospital case managers and set up O2 portability, nebulizers, and other DME items for patients leaving hospital. You will make daily rounds to contact case managers, stock the vehicle, and ensure documentation is complete for billing.

You will educate staff and patients on insurance criteria and programs, assist with CMNs and chart notes as requested, and communicate coverage criteria to facilitate

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with hospital case managers.
• Ability to educate patients on insurance criteria and programs.
• Capacity to complete setup paperwork daily.

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with necessary equipment, disposables, patient setup paperwork and marketing literature needed for that day.
• Make rounds to contact all case managers each day at each facility assigned to them to let them know they are at the facility should case managers identify a patient discharge equipment need
• Communicate with center throughout the day on O2 discharges so that center can schedule SR to complete home set up of equipment
• Understand and communicate coverage criteria to case managers and patients as applicable
• Complete setup paperwork daily for all equipment delivered
• Assist with getting CMNs and chart notes as requested by center daily required for billing
