The Hospital Laboratory Assistant Coordinator will report to the laboratory supervisor and have responsibilities that include supporting lab operations and quality compliance under the section supervisor, serving as acting supervisor when needed, ensuring quality lab services and regulatory compliance, supervising testing staff and daily lab operations, training staff, verifying competencies, and ensuring performance standards, troubleshooting instruments and coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, schedules, and payroll records, participating in performance improvement, quality control, and safety programs, attending leadership meetings, and communicating hospital policies. Individuals earning quick interviews will have their BS in Clinical Technology or related science, with relevant hospital experience, and are ASCP or NCA certified. This role is for night shift.
