Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year dietary experience preferred.
• Graduate of related technical school or 8th grade with 5 years of related experience may substitute for 6–12 months or HS/GED.
• Must obtain/maintain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately determine quantities of food to prepare; complete production worksheets and documentation.
• Standardize and develop new recipes.
• Prepare foods for patients, employees, visitors, and special events in a timely/accurate manner.
• Inspect food stations and equipment to ensure sanitary and safety regulations are followed.
• Orient and train new employees as assigned.
• Assist in patient satisfaction goals.
