Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate supply of food and supplies and reports stock levels to supervisor.
• Delivers meals and snacks according to schedules and serves meals as planned.
• Maintains proper refrigerator/freezer temperatures and logs.
• Keeps work area clean and maintains equipment in safe operating condition.
• Maintains proper food temperatures during preparation and service and logs temperatures.
• Prepares and pre-ports portions for regular and therapeutic diets using standardized recipes.
• Serves meals according to diet orders and uses portion control utensils.
• Cleans dishes and records water temperatures; follows infection control procedures.
