Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support the Food & Nutrition Services team in Reno, NV. Under supervision, you will operate the dish machine, clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, and perform assigned cleaning duties in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene, coordinating with staff across departments, and contributing to patient care by ensuring timely dish and supply handling.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses dish machine and dish chemicals appropriately.
• Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen equipment and areas including carts, storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, and floors.
• Performs special cleaning duties as assigned by the nutritional services director/ supervisor.
• Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
