Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital seeks a dependable dishwasher to join the hospital cafeteria's culinary team. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and sanitize all cookware and equipment as required. Support stock and inventory by shelving delivered items and labeling products.

The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with day, evening, and night shifts, paid hourly at $15.00, and a background check and eligibility verification. Benefits are provided as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Capable of prolonged standing and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas.
• Monitor and empty trash cans.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
