Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Able to push and pull wheeled carts.
• Able to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to tolerate frequent temperature changes, working around equipment that generates heat, steam and cold.

Responsibilities

• Ensures dishes, utensils, pots and pans are clean, dry, and stored appropriately.
• Performs general cleaning tasks including mopping floors.
• Follows HACCP principles in completing tasks.
• Accurately manages position paperwork (dish machine temperatures, 3-compartment sink form, etc.).
• Follows hand hygiene procedures and uses gloves when scrapping trays.
• Responds to internal and external customers and supports collaboration.
• Safely uses equipment and performs sanitation procedures; maintains clean dish room.
