Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a full-time Cook at Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. You will prepare nutritious meals for patients and staff, follow dietary guidelines, and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure meals meet quality and safety standards.

The role requires healthcare or institutional cooking experience, knowledge of HACCP, and the ability to follow recipes and meal plans. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with every other weekend; the pay range is

Competenze

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, restaurant, or institutional setting.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans accurately.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.

Mansioni

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, ensuring food meets quality, taste, and dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, following food safety guidelines (HACCP).
• Assist with meal plating and food presentation, ensuring meals are visually appealing and appetizing.
• Help manage food inventory, rotating stock, and maintaining appropriate portion control.
• Provide assistance to the Lead Cook and Kitchen Manager in the development of meal plans and preparation schedules.
• Work closely with dietary staff to accommodate patient-specific dietary needs, such as low-sodium or gluten-free diets.
• Adhere to proper sanitation and safety practices in the kitchen.
• Assist in preparing special meals for holidays, events, or celebrations as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, providing input on menu suggestions, food quality, and patient feedback.
