Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center is seeking a Cook to prepare a wide variety of food items following menus, recipes and production sheets. You will maintain a clean, sanitary work area and communicate with production staff about portions and recipes.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in healthcare and/or quantity cooking. The role includes training of other staff and adherence to safety guidelines in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare preferred
• 2+ years of experience in quantity cooking Preferred

Responsibilities

• Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures
• Utilizes proper equipment to produce standard recipes.
• Utilizes systems to quality process/standards in food production
• Performs other duties as assigned.
