Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment and systems across hospital facilities. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, repair, install, and service high voltage (13.2 KV) equipment, emergency systems, and related infrastructure.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician license, at least 4 years of related experience, and preferred experience with Master Electrician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and further training is required.
• Journeyman Electrician license is required.
• Master Electrician preferred.
• At least 4 years related experience is required.
• High voltage 13.2 KV experience and troubleshooting are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fixed and portable electrical and electronic equipment and systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, floor plans and specifications
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies as needed
• Work across HVAC, electrical, and life-safety systems in hospital facilities
• Install electrical circuits and fixtures and service electrical equipment
