Job summary

Compass Group USA’s TouchPoint Support Services in Birmingham, AL is hiring for full- and part-time janitor roles. The positions involve keeping facilities clean, rotating shifts, and supporting patient areas as needed.

We offer training and a competitive hourly pay range of $14.00 to $16.00, with day and evening shifts available. Prior janitorial experience is preferred and online applications are accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail in cleaning and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly according to procedures.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, walls and glass.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and returns to place after.
• Sanitizes all surfaces and follows eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture and baseboards to maintain a safe environment.
• Performs tasks in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines.
